Amazing food and such a personal experience. I felt like family.
This place is amazing. The Korean food is perfect. If it is your first time Kim's Special is the best!!!!
I love this place! You get such a large variety of little dishes to try with your meal and they are always something different, I love exploring new foods!
Best place in Spokane! Delicious food and amazing service. Can't judge this book by its cover.
Dolsot bibimbap and accompanying banchan were outstanding.
This restaurant is family owned and ran. They always offer fresh, healthy and authentic made Korean food. They make the kimchi in house and often use seasonal produce which I love that they do 💛 they use purple rice and it's been a family favorite for years 💚
I lived in Korea for 3 years and absolutely loved the food there, especially bibimbap. If you go to any Korean restaurant in the Spokane area for Korean food, this is the place I would recommend. Delicious food with an authenticity that's hard to match.
My wife and I love this place. Very kind customer service and the food is amazing every time we visit.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️! Amazing food . Small restaurant but big tastes !!! Very delicious and fresh Korean food . Don’t let the outside of the building shy you away. Fresh and delicious!
This food is always yummy.. always a favorite...a must try..
The love coming out of this tiny family-run Korean restaurant is stunning. I would put their food up against the best that Portland has to offer. Great, varied, creative Banchan that appears to be very season, perhaps from their own garden. Have eaten here 5 times and this place has been outstanding every time. Super thoughtful and nice service. No liquor license. The food and service is THE BEST.
The food was wonderful (I ordered the spicy chicken teriyaki with veggies) and the staff was super friendly! We will defiantly visit again. Thank you Kim for the awesome meal!
Such a cute hole in the wall. Definitely a hidden 💎! The area is small but that’s what makes it cozy. It is really busy during lunch, so if you’re in a hurry don’t go during lunch. Don’t be that person who complains about slow service when the place is pretty busy. Don’t be that person. Customer service was great. The food was sooo good!!! Chicken was cooked to perfect. The sauce was spicy but not too spicy. The veggies complimented the main dish so well. The lunch special is soooo affordable! I can’t wait to go back. I tried the spicy chicken dish. I highly recommend you stop by. Best Korean food I’ve had in a while
I shouldn't review as it's so good I dont want others to crowd the best Korean food ever!
This place feels like home from the crochet seat pads to the small close contact you get with the people eating you and the damn near perfect comfort food, it has it all. My SO has a large number of food allergies and I believe Kim the owner personally comes over and helps her out with what to get in the most grandma fashion. Everything I have had has been excellent and delicious . Just go there and have a wonderful meal.
Their food is honestly the best! I've always loved their customer service very inviting and homey. The flavor of this restaurant always brings me back, like that taste you just gotta have!
Please note their lunch menu is NOT offered on weekends, although their menu would lead you to assume otherwise. That is a significant price difference, almost twice as much. The food is very good though.
One of the best restaurants in all of the spokane county area. If you are looking for good Asian cuisine then this is the place to visit.
I love coming here!! The lady who runs this place is so nice! She is Korean and truly cares for her customers. When she brought our food out she showed us how to correctly eat it, and after we were done she cleaned everything up and put our food carefully into boxes. Last time I came here she even taught me a couple of Korean words and common phrases. And wow, the food is to die for, real authentic Korean dishes you will fall in love with. You should try their beef, it's so juicy and full of flavor. Overall it's a 10/10 from me folks.
Always wondered what all the side dishes were in those K-dramas. Now we know. The food was delicious and the service very friendly. We'll definitely be back with family and friends.
The food was delicious and the portions great. Just the right amount of side dishes for 3 people. Server was attentive and very nice.
I highly recommend Kim’s Korean Restaurant! I have tried many different dishes here and all have been outstanding! The portions are generous, the food is flavored perfectly and the sides that are served with the meal are so good. The servings were delicious and generous. Appetizers served prior to entree were amazing. Small place ith grand quality. The service is very good and everyone there is very friendly.
I really loved it. I enjoy trying things I've never had before and while some of the pickled sides weren't my favorite I absolutely enjoyed the experience. I can't wait to try something else on the menu. The parking is a lot cramped but parking lots are hard to come by these days. It's worth the hassle. Keep up the good work.
A great find in Spokane. The friendly owner started us off with an array of complimentary traditional Korean appetizers. All our dishes were delicious and plenty to eat.
Absolutley great Korean Food !!Cozy little family owned and operated restaurant. Truly amazing Korean cuisine.
What a wonderful surprise to find a real Korean Restaurant here in Spokane! If you are from Korea or have ever been there like me, you will love this little place!!! Authentic Korean Food!!!
As someone who lived in South Korea for 2+ years, I think this restaurant has a very authentic taste. Small dining area gives it a cozy feel. Very good food!
Kim's isn't just the best Korean place it's the best takeout place in the Inland Northwest
I just got done eating. I gave it 5 stars because of the price, portion and taste. It's more affordable than any other Korean places in the inland northwest. Maybe prices vary depending on when you order. I came when they opened at 10:30am today. I always love the side dishes of Korean restaurants, here I found something new. There are omelettes in every on tray that I ordered. I've never had that in any Korean restaurant, not even in other countries in Asia. The omelettes are so delicious! What a treat.
Decent Korean food with decent prices. A little stingy on banchan refills though.
Great food and great service. I will be back again and again. Keep putting out outstanding food.
Nice food and friendly owners.
There weren't that many people when we walked in but it was only 11:45 AM, by the time we ordered and it was past noon, the place was full. It doesn't hold that many people but, the ones that were there seemed like loyal, long time and satisfied customers. The food was great. The service was cordial. The prices very reasonable. Even though it's small and doesn't look like much, don't let that stop you from getting a first rate Korean meal.
I love eating here. We have been eating there since my daughter was a bub in my belly. This is the best Korean I've had here in town.
My husband and I tried Kim's after seeing the rating on Google maps. I give them 5 stars. It was just like being in Korea because of the decor, hospitality and most of all the spread of food they give you to go with your meal. We had kimbap for our appetizer and is amazing! So is their beef bulgogi! I highly recommend this restaurant and would go there again. Also make sure you try their purple rice. It's amazing too!
Nice little restaurant. The food is fantastic and service is great.
Really wonderful! Mrs Kim is really nice and funny. She recommended good food and served with nice service. Please take a try.
Small mom and pop restaurant with the ability to crank out delicious dishes quickly and for a great price.
Absolutely love the food here! Would go everyday if I could.
Small and homey. The owners and their staff are amazing and the food is just as good as the service you get! We go here when we need some comfort food and I highly recommend it!
Great Great Great very good fresh and tasty
This was my first time having real Korean food, and I must say it was probably one of the best restaurant I've ever been to. The service was AMAZING the waiter was the sweetest woman ever and the food was good. I had the Kimchi jjigae and although it was a bit to spicey for my taste, but it had amazing flavors.
Yummy kimchi. Great food.
The best Korean spot in Spokane. It is a small place, but worth the wait.
Great food, amazing service! Very nice and personal setting. The Korean family there are very good cooks. A little pricey, but all in all I think it's worth at least 4 stars, more like 4.5 stars. Definitely worth checking ot out.
This was the first time eating here and both my wife and I really enjoyed the food. We had dinner and we were surprised by the amount of food given! The food was really good and filling! Prices are reasonable and staff was pleasant and helpful!
Been going there to eat for YEARS! She knows me by my first name & my usual dish. D11 or D12.If anybody asks me where I want to go eat, I'll always start with Kim's Korean and work forward from there, IF they do not agree...
I've been here a lot and I think it's just great! The place is ran by a family. Sometimes the daughter comes to help serve. The food always comes with ban chan (little side dishes). I'm a huge fan of their (dolsot) bibimbap! It comes in a stone bowl so it's hot and makes the rice crispy on the bottom. The rice is purple from beans. It also has cucumbers, carrots, beets, seaweed, kale, onions, beansprouts, meat and an egg. So good! Best bibimbap in town I think! The other dish I ordered a lot is the soondubu jiggae. It's a spicy tofu soup and that particular one has seafood. Downsides - parking is very limited so you may have to park next door at the Zip's and sometimes they're crazy packed.
Like Laura said, the place is small and quickly packed out. However, the food was great, and very reminiscent of Korea. We had lived in Korea for eleven years and Korean food is about as close to Heaven as it can get. I brought my wife and sister here to treat them for Valentine's, and we enjoyed the food immensely. Prices were good, and I hope that I'll be able to come back again.I'm petty sure that my sister and her family will be coming back. We had a wonderful time and left very full and very happy, taking food be back to the Family who also really enjoyed themselves. Thanks folks for making an old man very happy.
I felt so cozy and comfortable here while enjoying some GREAT Korean food! The waitress and staff were wonderful. I really love everything about this place. ☺️ Definitely will be back again.
